Mt. Genie represents the highest peak of the Sahluli Mountain Chain at 6204m. above sea level within the area of Litang of Ganzi Zang (Tibetan) Autonomous Prefecture. It is a young mountain that rises abruptly due to the uplift. Movement of the Qinghai- Tibet plateau since the Tertiary Period (age of mammals). The north of slope is precipitous with craggy and bare giant rocks while the south of the
 
 

snow-capped. Icabergs stand like threes in a forest. East of it, morains and glacier lakes come into view. This therefore, is the most centralized area of glacier lakes in Sichuan.
Mt. Haizi rolls boundlessly from the northwest to the southwest. The Xiashai, its major peak, stands at 5833 m above sea level, the northwest to Litang county. Its northern face is free of ice and snow, while the southwest and the sister peaks (less than 1 km. In distance), each stands at evaluation of 5640 m and 5560 m are in silver attire all the year roud. The northwest and the southwest of the major peak are peaks standing at evaluation of 5670 m. and 5609 m. separately.
Mt. Haizi is well-grown due to glacier process in the a Quarterary period (age of man). A vast of longstanding glacier remains stretch in the distance with steep valley wall and flat valley bed. The glacial valley is typically formed "U" shape.
